Interactive Research Meeting Overcoming “Brick Walls” and “Dead Ends”
What do you do when your family history research hits a dead-end,?
This interactive research meeting will provide an opportunity to take advantage of some of our member’s years of experience in genealogical researching skills to help you find solutions to knock down a brick wall or two.

Beginners will appreciate the opportunity to ask “Where should I start?” or “What should I do next?” Experienced researchers may find another person who knows what resource tool will bring your ancestors out from behind your brick walls.   Please bring your pedigree charts and papers so we can review them.

Help us help you by submitting specific questions about your research to info@sdjgs in advance of the meeting.

Please bring any items you would like to donate to our December 3rd  Hanukah Party “Silent Auction” with you to our November meeting or drop them off at the library (and put them in the box behind the desk, or leave them at the JCC Information counter marked for SDJGS Silent Auction).

Please fill out the Profile Form, on our website bottom left, so we can chart where your ancestors came from, and what surnames you are researching. When the majority of members complete this form we will create a spreadsheet and distribute it to members.

All meetings start at 1:00 p.m.
Second Sunday of the month unless otherwise announced.
